Busy Busy Busy

Life's been busy as we get ready for the Spring Egg Hunt. We'll try to update more after the party. We just got pictures of Eric today with the Easter Bunny at the mall. Unfortunately, he knows when the camera is on him and refused to smile.

Latest news:
Eric has gained 2 lbs over the past month and is now in the 6-9 month clothes. Which means the clothes that we just bought him in 3-6 month no longer fit. So, yes, I would say the operations were successful and we are very happy with the results so far. Eric now weighs 15 lbs and gains an ounce a day. He'll be catching up to those full-terms yet (well except for Adri's wonder baby, lol).

Eric is much happier and more alert. He is practicing his words and is almost saying mama and dada. He is such a little chatterbox and loves a good conversation. He is sitting up more but still refuses to stay on his stomach and learn to crawl. He was scooting at one time, but hasn't since his surgeries. This isn't too surprising since he still has his G-Tube and won't get the MIC-KEY button for another 4 weeks. The surgeon is very pleased so far with his progress and thinks Eric will only need the feeding tube for another winter.

Eric does not care for solids and still gags (but thankfully, no longer vomiting) on them. He has a new high chair so he can be a big boy now. He seems to like it, or at least it is rather tasty to him and worth nibbling.

All in all, life is settling down into the new normal. I'll post new pics when I find the cord to the camera.

What can I say? I gave birth to a giant baby. :-)

I am so happy that Eric is doing so good!

Kellen and I can't wait to see him at the party.
