Medical
We hope the doctor will take Eric off of the oxygen tomorrow.
We saw the endocrinologist and Eric will be on his thyroid med until about 2-3 years of age. The doctor though it was funny that Eric took his medicine off of a spoon.
The flu shots start soon for Eric. Once a month until flu season is over. Cris and I have already gotten ours. Thankfully, the insurance company is covering Eric's shots, otherwise it is $2,000/per shot. OUCH!

Weight
At last check in, on Friday, Eric now weighs 9lbs 10oz.

Funny
Eric still has male pattern baldness on his head. It is too cute. We joke that the more hair Cris loses, the more Eric will gain. Eric looks exactly like Cris and everyone thinks it is funny that they are both balding on top of it. And just so you know, the men in my family have full heads of hair, so not my fault! LOL.

Sleep
Eh? What's that? So, Cris and I are so annoyed. We listened to the doctors and did not get the Amby bed (a hammock type bed). After getting a co-sleeper, a swing and a bouncer, trying desperately to get Eric to sleep more than an hour at a time, guess what worked? Yes, the Amby bed. The Amby bed is also helping Eric sleep in the bassinet as well. The bouncer and co-sleeper are now very expensive cat beds. Plllbbbbttt on the naysayers. (Yes, motherhood has matured me.)

Unfortunately, Eric's biggest problem is that he has night terrors and will wake himself up crying and whimpering during the night. We are learning that he will put himself back to sleep, but it is hard not to want to pick him up and reassure him.

General
Next week we hope to have pics of Eric in his first Halloween costume. We are not sure yet what it will be. We will have to pick a new one out since the place we ordered from (on October 8th!) has yet to ship out his costume. No matter what we end up with, Eric will be just adorable. He already has a quite the fan club whenever we are out with him. I have a feeling he is going to be quite the flirt when he is older!
