Finally!

We are home! I would have texted everyone like I did yesterday, but I was afraid of jinxing Eric's homecoming.

Yesterday evening, the docs changed Eric's medicine from Tylenol to Ibuprofen and that is working much better. Eric is finally eating and doing well at home. He is almost back to his happy baby self. He is still a little grumpy but that is to be expected. I will post pics as soon as I can.

Thank you everyone for your visits to the hospital, your texts, and calls. It really helped us get through this knowing how much everyone cared. We really appreciated your support.

Fun Facts:
While in the hospital, Eric has learned to tell you no by shaking his head, pulling himself up and sitting up without support, make popping sounds with his mouth, flirt with the brunettes on staff (he is pretty meh on any other hair color. What can I say? Gentlebabies prefer brunettes ;-P), has increased his cuteness factor, taking his first sips of water that he gives himself - spilling most of it but some gets to his mouth, started again on solids.

I learned to keep my dark chocolate away from him as he will grab it and eat it (now I know that he is mine!), Eric also blows bubbles and has finally shown the cats who is boss of the house. Poor kitties, as soon as he came home, Eric has been pulling any kitty hair he can grab. Before, all of them just ignored each other. Well, except for Neko who likes to sit on Eric while he is in my lap.

I'll get the pics up as soon as I have the energy to download and copyright them.
