Eyes fabric nervously. Today I am finally starting on the quilt for Eric that I got the fabric for when I found out his gender. Yes, it has been that long. I was inspired and motivated by Vivian's beautiful quilt that she made for Eric. Since the cats keep stealing my cloth toys and hiding them who-knows-where, I decided to try the quilt. I'm pretty sure they cannot carry it away.

His room has been painted, just needs a few touch-ups here and there. I think we found the right color to cover the pink in the bedroom furniture. I'll post pics of the completed room up on Myspace for those interested. We have some cute updated pictures that I will have been needing to post there as well. He actually hammed up for the camera one day! Lots of smiles. Normally, he glowers when the camera comes out.

We will not be having a birthday party for him this year. We decided to hold a Coming Home Day instead, but it is still up in the air, depending on Eric, energy levels, etc. We will probably have a Luau around that date. I do have a special photo to be taken of Eric on his birthday, though. No, I am not telling...it is to be a surprise.
